Rich Girl Camping according to Sarah

Francis and I celebrated our first anniversary on Sunday. We originally planned on going camping in Indiana, however that didn't work out for the following reasons:

1). We didn't make a reservation in enough time
2). We didn't think through all the details (i.e. we don't have a cooler, fire wood, directions, etc)
3). We would have to buy a bunch of stuff in order to camp successfully, and we're trying to save money

So instead, we decided to camp in out in our living room. I like to call it "Rich Girl Camping". We can do all the awesome things that come with camping, but in the comfort of our living room. I went to the store to stock up on supplies (as in good food like s'more fixings) and then we got to work.
I'm slightly overenthusiastic about this whole tent-in-the-house thing...

Moving our living room furniture around so that the ginormous tent will fit
The tent all set up in our living room
With all of our blankets and bedding
Check out our MacBooks...this is why it's called "Rich Girl Camping" : )
Roasting Marshmallows over the open fire (from our grill)
Mmm...enjoying the yumminess!
Isn't my husband adorable??
We celebrated our anniversary by napping, grilling burgers, indulging ourselves with some drinks, watching LOST, munching on s'mores, and dreaming about what the future holds for us.

Marriage is such a great thing. That's not to say that it isn't hard, because it definitely is at times. But along with the difficulties of marriage, comes growth. Being married has forced me to grow in ways that I have never imagined, and I'm so grateful for that. I'm also incredibly grateful that my husband chose me, of all women in the world, to make his wife. I am a lucky woman.

I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us.
